A major bug has been discovered in Apple’s FaceTime feature. The bug allows users to call anyone who has FaceTime and immediately lets them hear the audio coming from the persons phone without the person accepting or rejecting the incoming call. The bug seems to be affecting anyone who is running iOs 12.1 or later. Apple is currently aware of the bug and has since taken Group FaceTime offline for the time being. Apple noted that they will be addressing the bug within a software update that is scheduled to be released later this week. It goes without saying that this is a MAJOR security issue as you can essentially listen in on any iOs user. Until Apple addresses the issue, you should disable your FaceTime which can be found under Settings > FaceTime.
